Evidence decides. BakeryFind uses public source checks, owner claims and manual review to improve listings over time. Detection and preview generation can be automated, but production publication of enrichment still requires human approval.
Where BakeryFind listing data comes from
Listing data can come from the BakeryFind database, official bakery websites, official Instagram profiles, official Facebook pages, official menu pages, owner supplied updates and BakeryFind review notes.
What BakeryFind does not use
BakeryFind enrichment does not use Google reviews, Google stars, Google Business Profile copy, Google Maps content, Google images, Apple Maps, Yelp, Tripadvisor, delivery apps, blogs, media articles or third-party directory copy as approved enrichment sources.

How ABN linking works
ABN linkage means the bakery is connected to a real, active Australian business entity. It is a business identity check, not a claim that the public shopfront name and legal entity name are identical.
Why a bakery name may differ from its ABN entity name
BakeryFind does not treat a legal entity name and a shopfront name as the same thing. Many real bakeries trade under a public brand while the ABN belongs to a company, trust, hospitality group or parent entity. For that reason, BakeryFind does not require the ABN name to exactly match the bakery name. Instead, BakeryFind looks for evidence that the bakery is linked to an active Australian business entity.
How bakery owners can claim, update or remove details
Bakery owners can claim a listing, submit contact details and request corrections, removals or image replacement. Approved owners can provide stronger evidence than a public source check because they can confirm current business details directly.
How consumers should read BakeryFind listings
